Art “Lionheart” Hovhannesyan

Art was born in Guymri, Armenia in 1981. He started in the sport of boxing at the age of 12 under Internationally known boxing coach Varuzhan Davtyan.

Art is a Four time Armenian national champion in the lightweight division, and has had 215 amateur fights with 205 victories. In 2006, Art started his professional career in France, and in 2007,after 3 fights overseas, moved to the United States where he has been undefeated his coach & trainer, Edmond Tarverdyan. His current record stands at a perfect and undefeated 10 wins and 0 losses, with the last victory coming by KO in the 2nd minute of the First round against a seasoned opponent.

Art has had much experience, in world and European championships and international tournaments, in China, Iran, Czechoslovakia, Croatia, France, Ukraine and many other countries. Some of his notable awards include:
